SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
One year of specialized experience which includes: Perform special studies and research pertaining to planning and developing long-range water resource programs; provide investigation findings on water research programs to leadership on an internal and/or national level; utilizing state-of-the-art methods for projecting and analyzing future US water resource development needs; provide writing regulations and guidance on year budgets and program work plans; and make recommendations based on program analysis findings to meet mission goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-13 or above.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent GS-13.
ACCREDITATION: Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications. Therefore provide only the attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (http://www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/).
