QUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR GS-13:
You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following: Experience in applying, advanced principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices sufficient to accomplish assignments. Such knowledge includes skill in the development and interpretation of procedures and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services; providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical issues; applying new developments in the occupation to previously unsolvable problems; and making decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important policies or programs. Experience using a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to accomplish complex projects or studies of broad scope. Experience with a range of laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the segment(s) of the program affected by the assigned project or study. Experience with the overall mission, objectives, functions, policies, and organizational structure of the organization. Experience working with the objectives of the project and its relation to the various functions and overall program. Experience using management principles and processes to perform project management duties and to effectively coordinate and integrate project objectives and recommendations with key line and/or staff functions. Experience in applying, systems analysis techniques, software design concepts and methods and new or emerging technologies. Experience working effectively with others and to maintain harmonious relationships with all parties. Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
