## Role

The Senior Backend Developer is a vital member of our team, responsible for developing and scaling our backend systems. This role involves collaborating on architectural decisions, implementing robust backend solutions, and ensuring the stability and scalability of our systems to support the high demands of our gaming platform.

## Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the design and architecture of scalable backend systems, services, and APIs

• Implement backend solutions using .Net, focusing on developing reliable, efficient, and high-quality code.

• Maintain and enhance our AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing services like AWS Lambdas and ElasticSearch, to ensure scalability and optimal performance.

• Optimize database structures and queries in Postgres, focusing on performance, scalability, and data integrity.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, integrate new technologies, and foster innovation.

• Support the backend development team by promoting best practices in coding, architecture, and agile methodologies.

• Participate in the deployment and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.

• Assist in technical design, ensuring solutions meet business needs and comply with architectural standards.

• Contribute to technical documentation to support development efforts and maintain system integrity.

• Help refine technical processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality.

• Manage technical tickets and assist in their lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and effective task management within the team.

## Must-Have Skills

• Extensive experience in backend system development, preferably with .Net.

• Proficiency in AWS services, including Lambdas and ElasticSearch.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially Postgres, with expertise in database architecture and performance optimization.

• Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architectures.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

## Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments.

• Experience with ElasticSearch

• Knowledge of identity and access management tools, such as Hydra and Kratos.

• Familiarity with additional backend languages like Golang and Node.js.
