Key Responsibilities:

    •  The Business Development/Pre-Sales Lead will be responsible for driving business growth and supporting pre-sales activities with a focus on Atlassian-related solutions such as JIRA and JIRA Align. This role involves engaging with clients to understand their needs, developing tailored solutions, responding to RFPs, and collaborating with a broader solutioning team spread across the geographies. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in business development and pre-sales, particularly with Atlassian platform implementations.
    • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strategic relationships with clients, and drive revenue growth.
    • Solution Design: Develop comprehensive solutions using Atlassian tools, including JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence, and other related platforms, tailored to client requirements.
    • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business needs, present solutions, and manage client expectations throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
    • Estimation and Planning: Provide accurate estimates for project timelines, resources, and costs. Develop detailed project plans and ensure alignment with client goals.
    • Pre-Sales Support: Respond to client inquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring timely and accurate responses that align with client needs and company capabilities.
    • Solution Review Calls: Participate in solution review calls, both internal and client-facing, to discuss project progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the broader solutioning teams in the US and UK to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Atlassian products and features. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance solution offerings.
    • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
    • Typical Customer Requests:

    • Custom Workflows: Design and implement custom workflows in JIRA to match specific business processes and improve efficiency.
    • Integration with Other Tools: Integrate Atlassian tools with other software applications such as Slack, GitHub, Jenkins, and ServiceNow to streamline operations.
    • Advanced Reporting: Develop advanced reporting and dashboard solutions in JIRA and Confluence to provide insights into project performance and team productivity.
    • Migration Services: Plan and execute migrations from other project management tools to Atlassian platforms, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
    • Automation: Implement automation rules in JIRA to reduce manual tasks and enhance productivity.
    • Security and Compliance: Ensure that Atlassian implementations meet security and compliance requirements, including user permissions, data privacy, and audit trails.
    • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of Atlassian tools to handle large-scale projects and high user loads.
    • User Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators to maximize the effective use of Atlassian tools.
    • Customization: Customize JIRA and Confluence interfaces to improve user experience and align with corporate branding.
    • Agile Transformation: Support clients in their Agile transformation journey by configuring JIRA Align and providing best practices for Agile methodologies.
