Some of the duties you will perform include, but are not limited to:
Area Information: The office is located near the Old Market District in downtown Omaha. Housing in the Omaha metropolitan area, which includes Council Bluffs, Iowa, is plentiful and moderately priced for rental or purchase. Public, private and parochial education opportunities abound. Colleges, universities, technical and business schools, hospitals, churches, and most other amenities are readily available. The mean temperature is 50 degrees, with 87 degrees being the average summer high and 16 degrees the average winter low. Various recreational opportunities are abundant in the area.

Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. For current Federal employees, if hours worked per week are not included on your resume, you must submit a non-award SF-50 for each federal position listed as part of your application to be used to validate your work schedule and determine the amount of qualifying experience that you will be granted. An award SF-50 will not be acceptable documentation for which to consider your amount of qualifying experience. To qualify for this position at the GS-15 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:

CTAP/ICTAP: CTAP/ICTAP provides placement assistance to permanent Federal employees who are surplus, displaced, or involuntarily separated. Physical Demands: Work is primarily sedentary, but the job does require intermittent physical exertion such as walking over rough or rocky terrain while inspecting field operations. Some exposure to discomfort or risk is encountered on field trips, such as extreme heat or cold, but is not on a sustained or regular basis.
Working Conditions: Work is performed primarily indoors in an office setting and may be subjected to frustrating and stressful conditions. However, travel and liaison work do entail exposures to a variety of other considerations, including meetings in other locales or outside of national parks with varying terrain and/or weather demands.
The National Park Service has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.
Documentation for the Land Management Workforce Flexibility Act (LMWFA) eligibility: You must submit ALL SF-50s and performance information for each period of temporary/term employment that qualifies for LMWFA. Performance documentation can be obtained by contacting the supervisors for the positions you served in during your 24 months. If they did not complete performance appraisals, ask them to provide a statement of performance for each period of service. The statement must specify the dates for each employment period and your level of performance consistent with your SF_50s.
