About the role: 

As a People Analytics Insight Analyst at Ocado you’ll be delivering insights across the business relating to our people, focusing on topics such as recruiting, attrition, internal movement and survey analysis. You'll collaborate with our Center of Excellence (CoE) teams to craft people analytics strategies, honing in on areas like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Wellbeing, Talent, and Engagement.  As well as leading analytics projects spanning across recruitment, career progression, attrition, & engagement, you'll translate data from our People Data Warehouse for actionable insights, contributing to data enhancement plans and self-service dashboards. The overall goal is to empower our HR partners in data storytelling whilst nurturing analytical capabilities across the team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in designing scalable data and visualisation solutions (preferably with Google BigQuery, Looker, Microsoft, or Tableau).
  • Ideally, have some experience in People Analytics, Data Science, BI, or similar fields.
  • Familiarity with workforce data and people metrics, with basic understanding of HR practices.
  • Demonstrated success in applying analytical skills to real-world problems, focusing on impactful solutions.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with HR functions.
  • Skill in influencing teams and leaders through data-driven insights.
  • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment, taking ownership of tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and privacy.
