I am Tayná Oliveira, Talent Attraction Analyst from CI&T!

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Developer to join our dynamic team and drive the migration of our existing AWS services into a multi-region architecture.

As an AWS Developer, you will play a pivotal role in assessing our current AWS environment, identifying opportunities for multi-region deployment, and executing the migration process. Your expertise in AWS services and hands-on development skills will be instrumental in ensuring the high availability, scalability, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze the current state of AWS services and applications to identify candidates for multi-region deployment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand application architecture, and formulate migration strategies.

- Design and implement solutions to ensure seamless migration of services into a multi-region setup while minimizing downtime and maintaining data integrity.

- Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates to facilitate the deployment and management of resources in multiple regions.

- Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues related to the migration process and address technical challenges.

- Implement best practices for security, performance, and cost optimization during the migration and post-migration phases.

- Document migration processes, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.

- Stay up-to-date with AWS services, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Proven experience as an AWS Developer or similar role, with a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions.

- In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, CloudFormation, and others relevant to multi-region deployment.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java for creating automation scripts and application development within AWS environments.

- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed, cloud-based environment.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.

- Prior experience with multi-region architecture design and migration is highly desirable.
