MINIMUM BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

• Good communications skills - Ability to travel to the office until training is completed (job travel is about 80-90%) - 3 yrs of industry experience with 2-way radio, not tower RF - AC/DC voltage and power systems - BDA, Antennas, RF cabling (again, handheld not tower) - Different radios have different programming so knowledge and with what kind - Knowledge of RF spectrum and antenna propagation theory, and electrical theories like ohms law and other low voltage
